Old barns are my passion and there are hundreds dotted across the Northumberland Hills - some of the finest in Cramahe. This one in particular, in Morganston, built circa June 1903, captured my imagination:

Rural rambles are my passion and there's nowhere better than Cramahe. This shot of the creek was taken on the bridge on Penryn Road. I think it typifies pastoral panorama that we find everywhere in Cramahe.

A NICE SUNDAY RIDE TO THE CHURCH

Castleton Ontario is rich in history. The Dominion of Canada had not come into existence in 1865 when the brave and resolute pioneers, who settled the Castleton area in the early part of the 19th century, found the countryside raw and untouched, lonely, stern and grudging at times. The church is designated under the Ontario Heritage Act. I found this wonderful and colorful display in the front of the Castleton Church and couldn't leave without stopping for a photo.
